Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting Actuarial Management
Essential Functions:
  • Actuarial Analysts participate in the Actuarial Rotation program which provides the opportunity to rotate to a different team approximately every 3 years.
  • Rotations can be internal (core Actuarial, such as Commercial/Medicare pricing and reserves) or external (non-Actuarial teams with Actuarial-related work, such as Segment, Value-Based Provider Analytics, Financial Performance and Analysis, etc.)
  • Support and analyze pricing, trend analytics, gross margin reporting, and financial reporting related to ACA, Medicare, Group, Reserves, Segment, and other teams
  • Increase knowledge of actuarial science and insurance theory and practice, progressing toward the FSA designation
  • Open to remote or in-person candidates

Required Qualifications:
Math/Statistics or related Bachelor's degree required
Passing of 1 or more examinations from the Society of Actuaries
0-1 year of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum GPA of 3.2
Previous actuarial work experience or internship in an Actuarial role
Background in health or insurance field
Proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL
General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $71,200 - $115,700
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $75,000 - $85,000
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
