About Statusphere

Statusphere is an influencer-marketing technology platform built for enterprise brands to make human-generated content scalable, measurable and brand-safe across social, retail and paid media channels. The platform uses AI to automate and orchestrate large-scale creator programs, from sourcing and vetting influencers, to fulfillment, compliance, tracking and rights management. Brands including Express, Parlux, Kendo Brands, and LG H&H use Statusphere to drive social SEO, improve product discoverability and generate measurable sales impact online and in-store. For more information, visit www.joinstatus.com.

About the Role:

Statusphere is looking for a Head of Product to lead the next phase of our product organization as we deepen our enterprise capabilities and support high-value client relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, driving a clear, scalable execution plan that delivers measurable business outcomes across revenue, creator retention, and client expansion.

You will partner directly with the CEO to translate vision into a scalable product strategy and execution engine. You will build the operating system for the product: how we prioritize, define problems, make decisions, and ship high-quality work at speed. This includes establishing clear frameworks, success metrics, and data and analytics capabilities that inform what we prioritize, how we evaluate tradeoffs, and how we measure impact.

This is a player-coach role at the heart of our platform. You'll operate at both the strategic and execution level, managing a team of Product Managers, setting direction for key product updates, while working closely with engineering leadership and data science/analytics to drive prioritization, inform decisions, and deliver meaningful outcomes for enterprise customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, working closely with the CEO to translate vision into product strategy and lead end-to-end execution across Product (and Design).
  • Define product requirements, success metrics, and criteria that drive quality, performance, and scalability, including clear instrumentation and data standards to ensure reliable measurement.
  • Build and implement a clear prioritization and decision-making framework through structured tradeoffs (impact, platform complexity, and time-to-value), leveraging real-time, data-driven insights in partnership with engineering and analytics.
  • Establish KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, retention, and revenue contribution, owning the underlying analytics, data definitions, and governance that support them.
  • Shift the organization from solution-led thinking to problem-led thinking.
  • Establish systems to turn ideas into clear problem statements and well-defined product opportunities.
  • Create a scalable product development process that increases speed and quality, including a rigorous test-and-learn culture with continuous experimentation and iteration.
  • Ensure engineering consistently receives high-quality, actionable product requirements, supported by structured data, clear hypotheses, and measurable success criteria.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Product team, developing PMs across all levels while building a strong Product organization and championing innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Customer Success, and internal teams to drive outcomes.
  • Identify and eliminate manual workflows through product and automation.
  • Own budget, forecasting, resourcing, and ROI trade-offs to maximize impact, with closed-loop measurement systems that track initiatives from hypothesis through execution and quantify impact on revenue, adoption, and retention.
  • Embed data into product decisions, especially around marketplace performance and revenue impact, by building and leading the product analytics and data science function.
  • Drive adoption of modern AI tools and workflows across product development.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with a marketplace or two-sided platforms (strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes, including impact on revenue growth, retention, adoption, and operational efficiency
  • Experience building and scaling data-driven product organizations, including defining metrics, instrumentation, and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, championchallenger) to drive decisions
  • Demonstrated success using analytics to inform prioritization and validate product investments, with clear examples of quantifiable business impact
  • Exceptional product judgment and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to turn loosely defined ideas into clear problem statements and scalable solutions
  • Excellent communicator who can align teams around clear priorities and decisions
  • Ability to translate user needs into technical requirements
  • Lead effectively across cross-functional teams, particularly Engineering, while balancing multiple projects and driving alignment across competing priorities
  • Deep familiarity with modern AI product tools and a clear point of view on how AI should shape product development and operations
  • Experience building or leveraging AI-enabled systems to increase team velocity and output

Work Experience:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3-4+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience scaling product organizations in high-growth startups (scaling from $15M to 100M in revenue)
  • Experience with and strong understanding of influencer/creator marketing and brand partnership ecosystems is preferred
  • Technical fluency is a plus, with the ability to partner effectively with engineers and understand tradeoffs across systems, data, and architecture
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with a strong track record of bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to startup environments

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field

Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% depending on the needs of the business. Remote environment. No special physical demands required.

What You'll Get:

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO), sick time, and paid holidays
  • 4% 401(k) match
  • Employee stock options
  • Opportunities for growth & leadership in a fast-growing company
  • Collaborative, innovative, positive, team-oriented culture

Compensation decisions are influenced by multiple factors, including but not limited to education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, market demand, and internal equity.

What Success Looks Like

(0-90 days)

  • Rapid assessment of current product, identifying top 35 highest-impact opportunities tied to revenue, usage, creator acquisition/activation/retention, or operational efficiency
  • Clear prioritized roadmap reset focused on near-term wins and enterprise-critical improvements
  • Immediate improvements to core product friction points (e.g., campaign creation, execution workflows), driving measurable gains in usage or efficiency
  • Implementation of basic analytics visibility (dashboards, KPIs) to track product performance and inform decisions
  • Establishment of a lightweight prioritization and decision-making framework to align Product, Engineering, and leadership
  • Early wins in reducing manual workflows or operational bottlenecks through targeted product or automation changes
  • Strong alignment with Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership on top priorities and execution plan

(612 Months)

  • A clear, opinionated product strategy directly tied to revenue growth, enterprise readiness, and measurable business impact.
  • A consistent, high-quality prioritization and decision-making framework that surfaces and advances the highest-impact opportunities.
  • A shift to a problem-first product culture, where ideas are translated into clear problem statements and validated opportunities.
  • High-quality, actionable product requirements that improve engineering velocity, output quality, and cross-functional alignment.
