Job description

The Opportunity

Orlando Outdoor Living builds custom StruXure pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and hardscapes for homeowners and commercial clients across Central Florida. We need someone to be our in-house content creator—a videographer and editor who can capture our best work and turn it into the kind of before/after stories, project reveals, and job-site footage that actually converts leads.

This is a hands-on production role. You'll shoot video and photos at real job sites, edit raw footage into polished content, assist with our social channels, and—all with direct visibility into what's working. Twelve months in, our sales pipeline will be fed by a consistent stream of original, high-quality content that came from your camera and your editing suite.

What You'll Do

  • Shoot original video and photo content at job sites—project reveals, before/afters, installation footage, time-lapses—using your own camera work to tell the story of what we build
  • Edit raw footage into finished content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube shorts, and Facebook—short-form video, carousel posts, and testimonials that drive engagement
  • Assist with our social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok—planning, scheduling, and posting content that reflects our brand
  • Develop a content library from finished projects that our sales team can use in proposals and presentations
  • Assist in creating copy for social posts, paid ads, and emails that matches our premium brand voice
  • Track performance across all channels (GA4, platform analytics) and adjust strategy based on what's converting
  • Partner with ownership on seasonal campaigns and new product launches, and specialty projects.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Videography and photo/video editing skills—you shoot and edit your own content on a regular basis, not just occasionally
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience producing video content (social media, YouTube, advertising, or production companies)
  • Proven ability to manage social media accounts with real budget ownership
  • Strong visual eye and ability to tell a story through video and imagery
  • Self-starter comfortable owning a function solo at a small, fast-moving business

Preferred:

  • Drone photography/videography experience
  • Experience with short-form video platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
  • Experience with home services, construction, or luxury/outdoor living brands
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com

Compensation & Location

Base salary: $40,000–$60,000, depending on experience. Location: Hybrid—based in Orlando, FL.

Employment type: Full-time.

How to Apply

Send your resume and a portfolio link or 3–5 examples of video content you've produced. We want to see your work—even if it's from past projects, freelance gigs, or YouTube content.
