Job description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Solutions Consultant (Oncology Real-World Data) that is fully remote.

Position Overview
The Solutions Consultant serves as a key member of the commercial organization, supporting pre-sales activities, scientific solution development, project scoping, operational planning, and cross-functional handoff to analytics and delivery teams. This role acts as the scientific and analytical partner to Business Development, helping translate healthcare and life sciences customer needs into scalable, data-driven solutions while ensuring alignment across internal teams.
This is not a quota-carrying sales role. Instead, it is a consultative, client-facing position focused on shaping opportunities, establishing credibility, and enabling successful execution. The ideal candidate combines clinical or scientific expertise with strong communication and strategic problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This individual will play a critical role in building client trust, guiding scientific discussions, and ensuring healthcare data and analytics capabilities are applied effectively to support business and research objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Scientific Solutioning
* Lead the development and scoping of Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and feasibility assessments by translating client goals into operational requirements.
* Serve as a scientific and data subject matter expert during client discovery meetings, solution presentations, and strategic discussions with healthcare and life sciences organizations.
* Apply expertise in clinical research, epidemiology, protocol development, and analytics planning to support structured data collection and reporting strategies.

Delivery, Commercial Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Ensure all client-facing deliverables, including proposals and presentations, are scientifically rigorous, operationally feasible, and aligned with organizational capabilities.
* Act as an internal liaison between Business Development, Analytics, Product, and Operations teams to ensure clear communication, alignment, and successful project transitions.
* Support commercial enablement efforts by developing pre-sales resources, supporting go-to-market initiatives, and contributing to thought leadership and presentation materials.
Platform & Strategic Contributions
* Contribute to publications, conference materials, and external thought leadership initiatives related to healthcare analytics and real-world evidence.
* Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product enhancements and strategic planning.
* Identify emerging healthcare and research trends that may influence future solution offerings and platform evolution.
Qualifications & Experience
* Advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, MPH, or equivalent) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related scientific field.
* 5+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, medical/scientific affairs, or scientific advisory roles supporting enterprise healthcare or life sciences customers.
* Strong understanding of healthcare data, clinical research methodologies, observational research, and study design principles.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively across commercial, scientific, technical, and operational teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
* Experience supporting healthcare analytics, clinical technology, SaaS, or real-world evidence solutions.
* Familiarity with healthcare data ecosystems, EHR/claims datasets, or observational research platforms.
* Publications, presentations, or thought leadership contributions within healthcare analytics, epidemiology, or outcomes research.
* Experience helping scale pre-sales, solutions consulting, or scientific strategy functions.
Technical Skills
* Experience working with healthcare, claims, EHR, or real-world datasets and analytics environments.
* Understanding of statistical methods used in observational research, comparative effectiveness, and healthcare outcomes analysis.
* Proficiency in SQL or similar data querying tools preferred.
What Success Looks Like
* Improved sales efficiency and customer engagement through credible scientific guidance and solution support.
* Accurate and timely delivery of proposals, SOWs, and client-facing materials.
* Scalable pre-sales processes and frameworks that support commercial growth.
* Strong collaboration across business and technical teams resulting in successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
* Meaningful contribution to strategic growth initiatives and customer success outcomes.
