This full-time role is designed for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care via telehealth platforms. You will play a crucial part in guiding clients through their healing journey by providing essential therapeutic support that is trauma-informed and evidence-based.

About the Organization

Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers is a clinician-founded private practice dedicated to transforming lives through exceptional mental health care. Located in Seguin, Texas, we prioritize accessibility, integrity, and quality in everything we do. Our mission goes beyond mere transactions; we aim to cultivate communities where individuals feel empowered to lead happy and successful lives. We foster a supportive environment that champions personal, and professional growth, recognizing that our clinicians are instrumental to our shared success.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a clinical focus through telehealth sessions. We operate from 7 AM to 10 PM seven days a week, accommodating both clinicians' preferences and patients' schedules. This flexibility enables a work-life balance that can be hard to achieve in traditional settings. Our telehealth model is designed to maximize efficiency and accessibility, ensuring that our clinicians can focus on what matters mostโ€”their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and identify tailored therapeutic approaches.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience building, ensuring a patient-centered focus at all times.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting methods to meet individual client needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans, maximizing patient support and outcomes.
  • Respond to crises by providing immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, potential coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that reinforce the principles of trauma-informed care.
  • Stay current with research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Banyan Recovery, you will work primarily with individuals facing trauma-related challenges, including survivors of abuse, individuals grappling with PTSD, and those in need of resilience training. We serve a motivated patient demographic that values the therapeutic process, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their recovery and personal development.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-related treatment.
  • Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, empathetic approach, and a strong capacity to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
  • A collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct therapy with couples (training provided).
  • Demonstrated strong character attributes including integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
  • Self-motivation to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of patient interactions.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also provide a structured compensation package that includes:

  • Guaranteed pay with annual salary increases and bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits including group health and dental insurance, life and liability coverage.
  • 401(k) with a 3% employer match, CEU reimbursement, and paid orientation.
  • Flexibility in your work schedule, along with no required call, and no-show protection.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Banyan Recovery, we are committed to supporting your professional development. You will have opportunities for ongoing education and training, including access to specialized workshops related to trauma care. You can expect a full clinical caseload typically established within the first 90 days, after which you will have greater autonomy in your clinical practice.
