  • Provide educational support to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and available treatment options, as well as promoting effective self-care strategies.
  • Monitor client progress diligently and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that clients are supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care approaches that address all aspects of client health.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic methods and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative approach to patient care and enhance outcomes.
  • Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring client needs are met with respect and empathy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our licensed therapists cater to a diverse client base, including individuals suffering from various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We also prioritize providing compassionate support to vulnerable populations, including refugees and victims of domestic abuse, aiming to uplift those facing significant life challenges.

Qualifications
  • A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida is mandatory.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field, is required for this therapeutic role.

  • Proficient organizational and time-management skills are necessary to balance client caseloads and associated administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working with clients facing mood disorders, with a strong understanding of clinical assessments and tailored intervention methods.
  • Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and support for marginalized or underserved populations.
  • Prior engagement in continuing education related to mental health practices, particularly in therapies focused on addiction and recovery is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
