Harmonious Behavioral Health is in search of a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker to become a compassionate member of our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive mental health services to students in a remote school setting, actively contributing to their emotional and behavioral well-being. This role allows for remote work, fitting for professionals who appreciate flexibility and require a work-life balance. As part of our innovative school-based program, you will collaborate remotely with school personnel and other healthcare providers to ensure every student has access to essential mental health services. You will be equipped with the latest technology and resources necessary for delivering optimal care from the comfort of your own home.

You will primarily focus on the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' psychosocial needs to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their mental health goals.
• Provide case management and counseling services aimed at addressing emotional and social challenges faced by students.
• Assist students and their families in completing necessary documentation for entitlements and benefits, guiding them through the complexities of supplemental insurance and community assistance programs.
• Serve as an advocate for students in interactions with community agencies and resources, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records as per regulatory requirements while preparing reports and documentation to track progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate and facilitate transportation assistance for students when necessary to ensure they can attend appointments.
• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and collaborative care strategies.
• Identify educational needs related to mental health and offer support services tailored to students’ unique situations.
• Provide specialized counseling for prenatal and postpartum patients, focusing on the unique challenges they may face during these critical phases.
• Conduct HIV pre-test and post-test counseling, ensuring that students understand the implications and resources available to them.
• Follow up with students who have missed appointments and ensure they are re-engaged in their mental health treatment.
• Engage in continuous Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities to enhance service delivery and effectiveness.

This position primarily serves students from diverse backgrounds who present a wide array of emotional and behavioral health needs. You will directly support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health challenges, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources. Understanding the unique circumstances of each student will be essential in delivering personalized interventions.

The following qualifications are necessary for this role:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in social work is required, with a strong emphasis on applicable mental health experience.
• Demonstrated ability in effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication, sheeting a commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required for effective documentation and communication.

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Five or more years of direct experience as a social worker, specifically in a school or child-focused setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote patient care.
