Marvelous Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide full-time mental health therapy to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment

This role will be executed in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining an effective support structure for patients. Our outpatient office serves as both a collaborative workspace for our therapists and a comforting environment for patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to develop a precise understanding of each patient's trauma history and mental health needs.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their recovery journeys.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and enhancing emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients access immediate resources.
  • Educate patients and their families about effective trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all therapeutic interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve practice standards within a trauma-informed framework.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
