A Remote Margin Analyst is a financial professional who assesses the risk and compliance of lending activities, especially in relation to margin accounts, while working remotely. Their primary responsibilities include analyzing clients’ portfolios, monitoring margin requirements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal risk policies. They work closely with traders, risk managers, and compliance teams, and use various analytical tools to evaluate market trends and client exposures. Because the role is remote, proficiency in digital communication, secure data handling, and self-management is essential. This position is commonly found in brokerage firms, investment banks, and other financial institutions.

Remote Margin Analysts often face challenges related to communication and timely access to critical data, since they collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams across different locations. Following the acquisition, our company has doubled its customer base, necessitating a strengthening of our Pricing Team to maintain profitability and meet demand. We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to lead key strategic projects and ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable pricing. The Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing material costs, driving project-based pricing, and managing surcharge/tariff-related adjustments. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle increased, fast-paced workloads and provide immediate support to cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Project Management: Assist with major, ongoing projects, specifically Quarterly Material Adjustments, the Re-pricing of Low Margin Parts and Surcharge/Tariff Management initiatives to protect and enhance profitability.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 3-5+ years in a pricing or estimating role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (modeling, analysis).
• Specific Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in determining manufactured part costs, BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis, and manufacturing labor/material costing.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Targeted Experience: Prior experience with surcharge/tariff management or re-pricing strategies is highly desirable.
• Candidate Profile: Highly detailed, analytical, and capable of working independently.
Why?
