What is a Remote Mapping Designer?

A Remote Mapping Designer is a professional who creates, updates, and maintains digital maps and geospatial data from a remote location. They use specialized software to interpret data from various sources such as satellite imagery, GPS, and surveys to produce accurate maps for different industries like urban planning, logistics, or environmental monitoring. The role often involves collaborating with teams virtually and requires strong skills in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and spatial analysis.
