Job description

Job Overview: This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid) Hybrid role based in Burlington, MA corporate office. Fully remote candidates within the U.S. may be considered for the right fit

The Manager, BU Procurement leads day-to-day procurement execution for an assigned Business Unit, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and alignment with enterprise sourcing strategies. This role serves as the operational link between Materials Management, Category Management, and business stakeholders, translating demand into sourcing actions and supplier execution while supporting broader category strategy. Key Responsibilities Procurement Execution Manage procurement execution for BU categories, ensuring supply continuity and compliance with sourcing strategies.

Translate demand signals from supply planning and operations into actionable procurement plans. Execute purchasing aligned with contracts, policies, and governance standards. Support NPI/NPD, supplier transitions, onboarding, and BU productivity initiatives.

Supplier Management Manage day-to-day supplier relationships for BU-aligned suppliers. Track supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness; drive corrective actions. Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve supply issues and disruptions.

Identify and escalate supplier risks and capacity constraints. Cost & Value Delivery Deliver annual cost savings and working capital targets for assigned spend. Support cost modeling, inflation mitigation, and value improvement efforts with Category Management.

Identify execution-level opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance. Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement actions. Serve as the primary procurement contact for BU stakeholders.

Provide supplier insights and market intelligence to Category Management. Governance & Improvement Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sourcing standards. Support risk identification and mitigation related to supply and supplier performance.

Participate in audits, governance, and transformation initiatives. Drive standard work, data accuracy, and continuous improvement. Total Rewards: Targeted annual compensation range of $100,000-$130,000 This is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

5-8 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing, CPG, or food & beverage. Strong understanding of procurement execution, supplier management, and cross-functional operating models. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in direct materials procurement (packaging, ingredients, or co-manufacturing). Prior experience supporting complex, multi-site manufacturing environments.

Demonstrated success delivering cost savings, supply continuity, or operational improvements.
