About the Role:
 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake to help build and optimize modern cloud-based data solutions that support critical business operations.

In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data models, and ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality data to downstream business systems. You'll work with modern cloud-native technologies while helping evolve the organization's data platform toward a Snowflake and dbt architecture.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building enterprise data pipelines, designing scalable data warehouses, and transforming complex business requirements into reliable data solutions.

Remote - United States (Midwest Preferred)

Occasional travel to Chicago may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools.
  • Build and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and operational reporting.
  • Develop data transformation processes supporting business intelligence and downstream applications.
  • Design and maintain enterprise data pipelines integrating CRM, ERP, billing, and other business systems.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and reliability across all data workflows.
  • Build and maintain outbound integrations with enterprise applications and reporting platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline execution and query performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Support the evolution of modern cloud-native data architecture using Snowflake and dbt.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Strong SQL and data warehousing experience.
  • Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience working with enterprise business data.
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be based in the United States.
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
