Overview

We are seeking a motivated Operations Intern to join our Maryland team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting our operational team. The preceptor will offer diverse learning experiences based on departmental priorities and initiatives as well as individual interests.

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Provides administrative support for clinical and non-clinical leadership.
  • Assists with administrative tasks, data entry, and analysis, as well as document management.
  • Supports the scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
  • Collaborates with team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Assists in preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Assists with special projects as requested relating to practice growth and development.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program related to healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
