Rugiet Health

Austin, TX • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Job description

About Rugiet
Rugiet is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer telemedicine companies in the US, scaling dramatically by revolutionizing men's health through bespoke compounded medications and a premium digital patient experience.
The Opportunity
We're building the best-in-class men's health platform, and design is at the center of that mission. It's also a direct revenue driver: every interaction, every patient flow, and every UI detail impacts conversion, retention, and LTV. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end UI/UX of our patient experience across web and mobile-from first landing page to long-term member-and to set the standard for what a premium men's health experience should feel like. You should have experience designing incredible digital product experiences from start to finish.
What You Own
  • End-to-end UX of the patient journey - intake, checkout, onboarding, patient portal, subscription management, and mobile app across all surfaces
  • High-conversion flow design - intake questionnaires, product selection, checkout, refill, and subscription management, optimized relentlessly against CVR, refill rate, and patient satisfaction
  • Rugiet's design system - building, maintaining, and evolving a component library, design tokens, and interaction standards that scale across products and engineering
  • Our design process - evolving how design operates and how we collaborate with Product and Engineering, while interfacing closely with the Brand Creative team to keep the experience cohesive
  • Design reviews and consistency - coordinating reviews with teammates and cross-functional partners to ensure a consistent experience across every surface
  • A/B and multivariate testing - collaborating with Growth to design variants, interpret results, and ship winners together
  • UX research and usability testing - synthesizing session recordings, heatmaps, NPS comments, and patient interviews into prioritized improvements
  • Design-to-engineering handoff - pixel-perfect Figma files, Dev Mode specs, and active build QA to ensure precise implementation
  • Cross-functional design leadership - bringing patient empathy and UX rigor to Product, Engineering, Growth, and Lifecycle conversations

What You Bring
  • 8+ years of product design with a portfolio demonstrating mastery of interaction design and visual UI-flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity screens across web and mobile
  • Expert Figma proficiency-components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and Dev Mode; you use Figma the way engineers use their IDE
  • A proven track record designing high-conversion DTC or subscription consumer flows, with measurable outcomes you can speak to
  • Experience building or owning a design system-not just using one
  • Data fluency-you interpret funnels, session recordings, and A/B results to evolve designs
  • Strong design-engineering collaboration skills
  • UX research experience-running usability tests, synthesizing session recordings and patient feedback, and turning insights into prioritized design improvements
  • Experience evolving design processes and providing design guidance to other team members-you help raise the bar for the whole team, not just your own work
  • Bonus: healthcare/DTC experience, React/CSS familiarity, Mixpanel, and AI prototyping tools (e.g., Lovable, Claude, Figma Make, Bolt)

Portfolio
Portfolio required. We want to see end-to-end flow design, design system work, and at least one example where you can speak to a measurable outcome.
