Job description

Advocate for Policyholders. Litigate Meaningful Cases. Grow with a Nationally Expanding Firm.

Insurance Claim HQ is seeking an Missouri-licensed attorney to join our growing Plaintiff Property Litigation practice. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants hands-on responsibility and meaningful client interaction.

Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving storm damage, fire losses, water losses, and other significant property insurance claims. We are looking for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients and achieving exceptional results.

Why Join Insurance Claim HQ?

At Insurance Claim HQ, we take a real approach. We are innovative, collaborative, and relentlessly focused on helping our clients recover what they are owed. Every team member plays a critical role in our mission, and we invest heavily in the people and technology that allow our attorneys to succeed.

What We Value

What You'll Do
  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and settlement opportunities.
  • Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your cases.
  • Litigate matters in Illinois state and federal courts.
What We're Looking For
  • Active Missouri law license in good standing. Licensed in Kansas is a huge plus, but not required.
  • At least one year of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
  • Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment.
  • Experience in property insurance litigation is preferred
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: $85,000–$160,000, based on experience.
  • Remote work opportunity (Missouri or Kansas based).
  • 401(k)
  • Employer-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • No requirement to generate business.
  • A highly technology-forward environment where innovation is encouraged and supported.
  • Long-term opportunities for leadership and practice growth within a nationally expanding plaintiff law firm.

If you're looking for a litigation role where you can take ownership of your cases, work directly with clients, and help policyholders recover after significant property losses, we would love to hear from you.
