The clinician will work primarily from home but will also engage with community members through virtual outreach and direct interventions. • Engage directly with clients, offering both in-office and community-based mental health services to individuals suffering from major mental health issues and severe emotional disorders.
• Establish rapport and trust with clients and team members, enhancing collaboration and unified pursuit of treatment goals.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments to determine client needs, arranging for comprehensive evaluations as necessary.
• Create and implement integrated care plans that ensure seamless access to necessary services, collaborating with clients, families, and external providers.
• Participate actively as a member of various teams focused on improving operational efficiency and quality of care.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols, ensuring a trustworthy and safe care environment.
• Manage a caseload effectively, including assessments, and providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention assistance, intervening with compassion and professionalism in emergency situations.
• Document client progress comprehensively, ensuring timely completion of reports and data submissions.
• Contribute to committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and fostering continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.

The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse clientele in the Reno area, including individuals facing significant mental health challenges due to socio-economic factors. This population often lacks access to critical healthcare resources, making the work done by Tranquil Minds Consulting both vital and rewarding. The successful LCSW will need to be culturally sensitive and able to navigate various socio-cultural landscapes, respecting the unique beliefs and experiences of each client.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid LCSW license in Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on underserved populations.
• Strong ability in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and caseloads effectively.
• Competence in age-specific developmental issues and a solid understanding of various mental health disorders.

• Experience using integrated care models and an understanding of the social determinants of health.
• Exposure to evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT.
• Familiarity with community health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Competence in working with multi-disciplinary teams.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
