Position Overview

The Analyst within the Media Scanner team is a key member of The Media Trusts Client Operations Group, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely configuration and execution of our digital scanning and monitoring solutions and support delivery for TMTs suite of products and services. This role requires technical curiosity, precision, and a service-oriented mindset. You will serve as a bridge between internal systems, customer needs, and product delivery.


This is a remote role based out of our McLean, VA headquarters. Occasional early evening or weekend hours may be required during peak periods or high-priority project deliveries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate and utilize TMTs internal platforms to support product setup and ongoing service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to incoming support tickets and internal communications via JIRA, Slack, and email.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by setting up scanning accounts and configuring delivery parameters.
  • Analyze and process advertising tags, creatives, and campaign files for inclusion in TMTs scanning systems.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks to ensure configuration accuracy.
  • Monitor service delivery for key accounts, identifying anomalies and ensuring adherence to performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to resolve client-facing issues and implement enhancements.
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation related to scanning workflows, system configurations, and client-specific requirements.
  • Participate in specialized initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and product innovation.


Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a client-facing technical or ad operations role, preferably in the digital advertising, publishing, martech, or media commerce industry.
  • Familiarity with online advertising concepts, ad tag structures (JavaScript, HTML5, VAST, etc.), and campaign workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical issues into user-friendly language.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ticketing platforms like JIRA.
  • Self-starter and natural curiosity with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.


Nice to Have

  • Experience working with publishers, ad tech platforms, or digital agencies in a technical or operations support capacity.
  • Exposure to or interest in web security, privacy compliance, or malware detection in online advertising.
