This position is set up for remote work, allowing for the convenience of a home office setup while maintaining interaction with clients through telehealth platforms. Our clinic’s infrastructure ensures counselors are equipped with modern technology and resources needed for effective service delivery. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, empowering an optimal work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to guide clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Contribute to clinical supervision and training discussions, offering insights on practice enhancements that could improve therapeutic experiences for clients.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and have different life experiences, making cultural competency and empathy crucial in building trusting therapeutic relationships.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. Preference may be given to candidates with advanced degrees such as a Master’s.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in digital communication tools, particularly Google Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems, to facilitate documentation and client communications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling, preferably within a community health setting, is strongly preferred.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.
