A successful Make-Ready Engineer shall be responsible for designing, planning, and managing the design of aerial telecommunications infrastructure and fiber optic networks. They work closely with project managers and team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also providing technical expertise and support to other team members. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure, NESC as it applies to pole attachments, and the ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with telecommunications design software; ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data.

What you'll do
• Complete as well as ensure completion of tasks for assigned department/project.
• Schedule and determine priority of tasks for assigned department/project.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.
• Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data as well as read, interpret, input, and analyze data.
• Additional Duties as assigned.
What you'll need
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in the use of hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, Ocalc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.)
• Proficient in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
