Description
The Office of Communications Photography and Videography Student Worker will support ongoing operations of the Office of Communications and related College needs focused on photography related to campus happenings and events and videography/social media content creation.
This role is a role strategically focused on visual communications, specifically, photography and videography of campus events and happenings. In particular, these visuals are needed for social media, College communications, and providing to external audiences related to specific communications tactics. This role will work closely with the College's Marketing Manager to collect and edit visuals for strategic College needs.
This position will enable the student to build a visual portfolio and gain practical skills related to marketing and communications.
This position is designated for student employment and is anticipated to begin at the start of the Fall 2026 semester.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Capturing photos and videos
  • Editing photos and videos
  • Coordinating video project details
  • Collecting information related to visuals in correct detail and communicating to team
  • Meeting deadlines for photo and video production.

Typical Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
  • Strong photography and photo editing skills.
  • Core understanding of videography lighting, tools, and editing.
  • Ability to work in photo and video editing softwares
  • Ability to coordinate details and follow through on day-to-day tasks

Work Environment and/or Physical Demands:
