The Genworth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Fresno, California, to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive assessments that empower clients and families to express their unique strengths and challenges.
  • Provide tailored individual and family therapy utilizing evidenced-based modalities to facilitate healing and growth.
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization, adhering to established deadlines.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans, including measures for relapse prevention and wellness maintenance tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with clients on discharge planning that supports their ongoing wellness and engagement with community resources.
  • Maintain strict compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and best practices.
  • Engage in regular professional development through training, case consultation, and continuous education to enhance therapeutic skills.
  • Participate actively in case consultation meetings and agency gatherings, fostering an environment of team collaboration.
  • Fulfill all licensing requirements, including mandatory training sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Genworth Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. You will address an array of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional and behavioral issues. Your role is critical in delivering personalized approaches that resonate with each client's cultural and individual identity.

Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, resulting in proper licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in California (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW).
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community health settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with licensure and experience. Additional benefits include:
