The Inner Fire Wellness Center operates Monday through Saturday, providing therapists with the autonomy to create and manage their own schedules. You will have access to a robust in-house credentialing system, along with comprehensive support for managing insurance participation and patient scheduling.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Inner Fire Wellness Center, you will engage in the following primary responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients, including individuals, adolescents, and families, to identify their specific mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate progress in clients' individualized service plans and enhance their coping strategies.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment plans and client progress, ensuring all documentation meets ethical and departmental standards.
• Provide case management support by collaborating with external resources and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for assigned patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training, including attending staff meetings and interdisciplinary rounds, to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

The clientele at Inner Fire Wellness Center includes a diverse range of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and major life transitions. The center focuses on creating a safe and inclusive environment for all clients, recognizing the importance of cultural sensitivity and individualized care in the therapeutic process.

• Candidates must possess a valid State license as an LMFT, LPC, or LSW.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
• Ability and willingness to work between 10 to 40 sessions per week, adapting to client needs.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly with familiarity in applying CBT and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing diverse patient populations is also advantageous.
