• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and counselors, to assess client needs and create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client strengths and areas of concern, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote healing and recovery.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and community support services available to them.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health care.
• Document all interactions and treatment updates in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain informed of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. As a social worker at a detox center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults from various backgrounds and life experiences. Your role will involve not only facilitating their recovery but also addressing the underlying psychological factors that contribute to their struggles.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and work collaboratively within a team environment.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical social work capacity, preferably within a detox or substance use treatment setting.
• Experience working closely with diverse populations, including the elderly and individuals with significant trauma histories.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for client management.
