Work Environment

As a remote-based mental health counselor, you will have the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while contributing to a positive, client-focused practice. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to determine the psychological needs of clients, facilitating the creation of personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to guide sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health concerns, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants.
• Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s mental health journey are addressed.
• Offer crisis intervention services to assist clients during mental health emergencies, playing a critical role in their immediate support.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and various community resources available to enhance their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and integrity in our practice.
• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance overall team performance.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse clientele managing a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and stress-related disorders. By applying individualized treatment approaches, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health and overall well-being of our clients, empowering them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LPC within the state of Massachusetts.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse range of patients, showcasing adaptability to varied therapeutic styles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate meaningful interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
• Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining stringent professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools to support documentation and workflow.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative setting, working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and an understanding of teletherapy practices would be highly beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and experience working with marginalized populations can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
