Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This full-time position, based in Reno, Nevada, offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to our patients. As a remote outpatient therapist at Diversicare, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from your own location while being part of a cohesive team committed to effective mental health treatments. Your regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to meet client needs. This setup aims to promote work-life balance while delivering high-quality therapy.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms presented by clients suffering from mood disorders.
• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their individual goals and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care techniques that promote mental health stability.
• Monitor client progress over the course of therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on observed changes and outcomes.
• Work closely with our team of psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each client’s care.
• Stay informed on current research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance therapy effectiveness.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, documenting sessions, treatment plans, and progress, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions on best practices in treating mood disorders.
• Advocate for clients experiencing mood disorders, promoting awareness, and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related disorders. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges, developing resilience and coping mechanisms to enhance their quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting.
• Strong background in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Working knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful treatment outcomes in managing mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience specializing in mood disorders, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engagement in professional development initiatives or training focused on the latest trends and interventions in mental health.

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with additional bonuses, including a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
