The Teen Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a remote capacity. This position is fully remote, allowing our counselors to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes. Utilizing telehealth practices, you will conduct virtual therapy sessions through secure platforms, managing your schedule to ensure you can deliver optimal care. • Develop tailored therapy plans and conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each client’s needs and treatment goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, to support clients during sessions.
• Facilitate group therapy, family counseling, and couples therapy to address varying relationship dynamics and promote effective communication.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records are current and accurate.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in the mental health field.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care and referrals when necessary.

You will work primarily with adolescents navigating a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Many of our clients come from underserved backgrounds or have limited access to traditional mental health services. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe and welcoming space for these clients and facilitating their journey toward emotional well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, with an emphasis on adolescent mental health preferred.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines surrounding mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is desirable.
• Experience working in a telehealth setting will be an advantage as this role primarily involves virtual counseling.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
