Brighter Future Psychotherapy Services is seeking a qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to enhance our dedicated team. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our counselors to provide services from the comfort of their own homes while ensuring that they are available to support clients across Massachusetts. • Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs and challenges, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to create individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions for clients of all ages, effectively addressing an array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop client-centered treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and measurable outcomes for tracking progress.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to assist clients in acute distress.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Adhere to state regulations and ethical guidelines to ensure client confidentiality, informed consent, and culturally competent practice.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric professionals, to create a holistic care approach.

The LMHC will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults, each presenting unique mental health needs. Our patients may deal with various issues ranging from everyday stressors to severe mental health conditions. The role involves creating a welcoming and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages clients to express themselves freely and work towards their personal goals.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent relevant licensure.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating strong competency in therapy provision.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A strong ethical framework, professional conduct, and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying current with emerging evidence-based practices.

• Experience with telehealth counseling practices and familiarization with remote therapeutic tools.
• Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Previous experience working in community health settings is preferred but not required.

Brighter Future Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
