• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans that address each client's specific mental health needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual and group sessions, focusing on a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Document treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay ahead of trends and advancements in mental health practices.

Our client population includes individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As an LPC, you will play a vital role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, helping them develop coping strategies while promoting emotional resilience and personal growth.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred for advanced methodologies.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, especially in a clinical or therapeutic context.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with diverse client populations, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and other relevant technologies to efficiently document client progress and treatment notes.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• A strong understanding of legal statutes and ethical guidelines pertinent to mental health care practices.
• Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000, based on qualifications and caseload.
