The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Organization

Travis Mental Health Clinic is a forward-thinking telehealth provider located in Jackson, Tennessee, committed to delivering high-quality mental health care through innovative virtual platforms. Our clinic specializes in providing tailored mental health support to clients from various backgrounds, focusing on accessibility and effectiveness. Our counseling team is comprised of diverse and experienced professionals who collaborate to create a supportive environment for our clients.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. You will interact with clients through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a confidential and safe space for therapy sessions. The supportive administrative team at Travis Mental Health Clinic handles scheduling, billing, and other logistical aspects of care, permitting you to focus solely on the therapeutic relationship with your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and appropriate treatment interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions for pre-screened, low-acuity clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities appropriate for individual and group sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support and continuity of care for clients.
  • Utilize telehealth technology effectively to enhance the client experience and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with low-acuity clients who are dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. This role focuses on providing early intervention services to help individuals and families address their challenges before they escalate into more severe mental health issues.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a clinical counseling setting, preferably providing telehealth services.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Google Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications ensure foundational skills for this role, experience with trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth counseling practices and techniques can enhance the therapeutic trust and effectiveness of client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000.
  • 401(k) retirement plan to help you save for your future.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance to ensure you and your family are well cared for.
  • Life insurance to provide peace of mind to you and your loved ones.
  • Generous paid time off to support your work-life balance and well-being.
  • Opportunities for continuing education reimbursement to foster your professional development.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Travis Mental Health Clinic, we value the professional growth of our team members. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, enabling you to advance your skills and progress within the organization. We promote from within and encourage our counselors to pursue additional certifications and leadership roles as part of their career journey.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Travis Mental Health Clinic, you become part of a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. We prioritize the well-being of both our clients and our employees, creating a supportive and flexible work environment that emphasizes work-life balance and personal growth.
