This position plays a key role in advancing automation, improving reporting accuracy, and supporting enterprise growth.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities where download functionality is available but not enabled, partnering with carriers and agencies to increase adoption and utilization.
  • Establish standardized processes and best practices for download implementation during acquisitions, AMS migrations, and other strategic integration initiatives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for carrier download functionality, including IVANS connectivity, direct carrier feeds, and AMS integration capabilities.
  • Ensure downloaded policy, billing, and claims data is complete, accurate, structured, and aligned with enterprise data quality standards.
  • Design and oversee validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to resolve missing data, download failures, mapping discrepancies, and connectivity issues.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to download activation, success rates, exception management, data quality, timeliness, and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure direct bill commission structures and related download processes are configured accurately and consistently within applicable systems.
  • Act as the primary liaison between carrier download teams, AMS providers, internal technology teams, integration resources, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve carrier configuration issues, system mapping errors, connectivity failures, and download processing exceptions.
  • Oversee outsourced and third-party operational partners, including business process outsourcing providers, to ensure service delivery, quality standards, productivity targets, and contractual expectations are met.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, quality assurance controls, service level agreements, and performance metrics for download-related workflows.
  • Evaluate current-state processes and identify opportunities to automate manual work, reduce rework, improve accuracy, and increase operational scalability.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership, regional operations leaders, and support teams to implement download capabilities and promote enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Develop training materials, operational documentation, and change management strategies that support user adoption and consistent execution.
  • Serve as the escalation point for agencies experiencing download-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into carrier download penetration, activation status, data quality trends, operational performance, and exception management.
  • Lead governance routines and stakeholder reviews with Carrier Administration, Operations, Finance, IT, and agency leadership to evaluate performance and prioritize improvements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, carrier capabilities, AMS enhancements, and emerging technologies that may strengthen carrier download strategy and operational performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7-9+ years of progressive experience in insurance operations, preferably within a Property & Casualty agency, brokerage, or insurance services environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agency Management Systems required; Applied Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of carrier download processes, IVANS connectivity, direct carrier feeds, policy data structures, and insurance operational workflows.
  • Experience managing external vendors, outsourced operations, and business process outsourcing relationships.

  • Experience developing KPIs, operational reporting, dashboards, governance routines, and performance management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and lead initiatives across a decentralized operating model.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, operational consistency, and continuous improvement.
