Job description

Description Summary: The Commercial Loan Services Specialist 3 is a member of the Agency Services team within the Commercial Loan Services group. This team is responsible for servicing the bank's Commercial Participated and Syndicated portfolios which include processing payments and advances, initiating wire transfers, processing transactions on syndicated loans and settling with member banks same day, balancing loans in line with the Agent banks, complex research of loans, loan closing and booking of Syndication loans including collateral review, and working closely with Participant banks and internal business partners. Duties and Responsibilities: Work independently on an assigned loan portfolio of high dollar Participated and Syndicated loans and complete transactions within the terms of the executed credit agreement.

Responsible for working loans that Huntington acts as the Agent bank on. Work closely with Syndication Directors on upcoming closings. Involvement in attorney calls on preliminary documentation and review based on HNB requirements.

Closing and booking of Syndication loans on ACBS loan system. Prepare detailed advice to Participant Banks notifying them of recent transactions. Work directly with customers on rate options for balances of their loans and transfer of funds.

Send/Receive wires from participant banks for requirement settlements. Maintain acceptable quality standards. Research discrepancies with loan balances and work closely with Participant Banks, interpreting credit agreements, and reviewing loan and rate history.

Monitor and complete various suspect reports and correct accounting/billing errors on loans in ACBS within the terms of the executed credit agreement. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 2+ years of related experience involving Commercial Loan documentation (i.e, review, documentation preparation, account maintenance) Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree Experience reading and interpreting load documents Self-starting individual with excellent follow through, time management, analytical thinking and organizational skills Experience working in a production environment under time constraints and strict deadlines Participation/Syndication experience Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal Experience working on a Syndicated Loan System Financial balancing and reconciling experience Experience handling large dollar transactions Strong analytical problem solving skills Understanding or ability to learn complex business processes involved in Commercial Lending Passion for HNB's corporate vision - i.e., to be an Essential Partner - for both our internal and external customers Commitment to demonstrate our corporate values of Forward-Thinking, Can-Do Attitude and Service Heart Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) No Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement
