Empower Minds Therapy is urgently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support strategies.
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation that meets all regulatory standards to uphold the quality of care we provide.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating closely with the clinical team to optimize client interventions.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams and programs to implement effective positive behavior support plans.
• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes to maintain the highest professional standards.
• Serve as a crucial liaison between clients, service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate comprehensive support.
• Establish and nurture effective communication channels to align with contract standards and further the mission of Empower Minds Therapy.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance program visibility and secure potential partnerships.
• Engage in ongoing professional development efforts including attendance at workshops, conferences, and representatives on various committees to reinforce expertise.
• Promote and embody our agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions.

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population encompassing individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes clients with emotional distress, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your work will be pivotal in guiding these individuals towards recovery and independence through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice in Florida.

While not strictly necessary, experience in telehealth delivery and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be highly advantageous. Candidates who have worked in multidisciplinary environments or who possess experience in crisis intervention will find their skills particularly beneficial in our practice.
