Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions through secure video chat to support clients in improving their mental health.
• Facilitating discussions around emotions and experiences to help clients develop greater self-awareness and insight into their personal relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining achievable goals for their therapeutic journey.
• Assessing clients’ mental health conditions, formulating, and implementing treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused strategies tailored to their individual needs.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of client sessions to monitor progress and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will be carefully screened individuals who are stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. By matching you with clients that align with your specialties and demographic preferences, we ensure that you can leverage your expertise effectively. This approach allows for a productive therapeutic alliance while minimizing the challenges associated with high-acuity cases.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in Texas as a Mental Health Professional as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• No provisional or limited licenses; candidates must be in good standing without any disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in using basic computer systems and technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for building rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to clients.
• Experience with telehealth and virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable.
• A background in working with diverse populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, with annual salaries ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, depending on hours worked. Additionally, you will enjoy:
