Our Customer Service department is looking for seasonal employees to be the customer-facing part of our company. We are looking for people who are helpful, open, caring, and like to be on the phone talking with customers. We have established ourselves as one of the largest online Halloween costume companies in the world and therefore we need a ton of help this fall!ย 

Requirements

A Customer Service Representative's overall responsibility with FUN.com is to create a world class shopping experience for our customers through effective telephone, email, and live chat support.


Typical types of customer contacts include:

  • Assist in placing orders over the phone
  • Answer customer questions regarding shipping, sizing, order status, and product availability
  • Assist customers in returning and exchanging merchandise
  • Issue resolution
  • Placing a limited number of outbound calls to assist customers

Other responsibilities include:

  • Help to increase company sales through complete and friendly communication with our customers.
  • Monitor orders for inaccurate information to help ensure customer satisfaction like duplicate orders and fraudulent orders.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Typing speed of 25+ words per minute
  • Take incoming phone calls
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Sunday - Saturday)
  • Good understanding of computer technology and how to navigate through a web-based computer environment using multiple browser windows at once
  • The ability to effectively communicate with our customers and staff
  • Possess basic problem-solving skills
  • Possess a dedicated home office that is child and distraction free.
  • Possess a Windows home computer (not a tablet, cell phone etc.) with internet speeds of 5mbs or greater from a reliable internet service provider
  • A positive outgoing personality
  • Enjoyment from working independently
  • A Windows laptop or desktop computer are the ONLY acceptable devices for this job (No Chromebooks, iMac, MacBooks etc.)
