Job description

Help future coaches find the right path.

Every year, thousands of people come to Precision Nutrition because they want to build a career helping others live healthier lives.

Some are just getting started. Others are experienced coaches looking to deepen their expertise. All of them have questions.

You've completed the journey yourself. Now you'll help others begin theirs.

As a Certification Advisor, you'll be the trusted guide who helps prospective students navigate those decisions.

You'll spend most of your time connecting with prospective students through email, live chat, and scheduled phone calls, helping them understand our certifications, coaching programs, and how they fit into their goals.

This isn't a high-pressure sales role.

It's about listening well, understanding where someone is today, and helping them confidently choose the next step that's right for them.

If you love coaching, enjoy meaningful conversations, and can translate complex information into practical guidance, we'd love to hear from you.

About Precision Nutrition

For more than 20 years, Precision Nutrition has helped hundreds of thousands of coaches and clients around the world improve their health through evidence-informed nutrition, behaviour change, and coaching.

We're a remote-first company that values curiosity, collaboration, respect, and thoughtful discussion. We believe great coaching changes lives, and we're passionate about helping coaches build the knowledge and confidence to make that impact.

What you'll do

Most of your time will be spent supporting prospective students as they explore Precision Nutrition's certifications and coaching programs.

You'll:

  • Guide prospective students through our certifications, courses, and coaching offerings via email, live chat, and scheduled phone calls.
  • Build genuine relationships by listening carefully, understanding each person's goals, and recommending the learning pathway that best fits their needs.
  • Answer detailed questions about our programs, curriculum, coaching methodology, career opportunities, and what it's like to build a coaching practice.
  • Help troubleshoot enrollment, registration, and payment questions, partnering with our Customer Experience team when needed.
  • Develop thoughtful follow-up strategies that help prospective students continue moving confidently through their decision-making process.
  • Share recurring customer questions and insights with our Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to continuously improve how we support prospective students.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation, communication templates, predefined replies, and knowledge resources.
  • Stay current on Precision Nutrition programs, promotions, and the broader coaching industry so you can confidently support prospective students.

What success looks like

Within your first few months, you'll:

  • Confidently support prospective students across all Precision Nutrition certifications, courses, and coaching offerings.
  • Independently manage conversations from first inquiry through enrollment.
  • Build strong working relationships across Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing.
  • Become a trusted resource that teammates rely on for thoughtful communication, sound judgment, and practical coaching insight.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for every prospective student.

We're looking for someone who...

Because you've completed Precision Nutrition's certifications yourself and have experience coaching clients, you'll be able to speak from firsthand experience—not just product knowledge. Prospective students are looking for someone who understands both the curriculum and what it looks like to apply it in the real world.

You'll likely be a great fit if you:

  • Have completed all three Precision Nutrition certifications:
    • PN Level 1 Nutrition Certification
    • Sleep, Stress Management & Recovery Certification
    • PN Level 2 Master Health Coaching Certification
  • Have experience coaching clients and can confidently speak to applying the PN methodology in practice.
  • Are an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Enjoy helping people make thoughtful decisions rather than using high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Build trust quickly through empathy, curiosity, and active listening.
  • Are organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple conversations simultaneously.
  • Can balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Are comfortable learning and using new technology, including AI tools that improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
  • Are proficient with Google Workspace and comfortable working in collaborative documentation platforms such as Notion.
  • Are familiar with ticketing software (ZenDesk or similar), as well as online team communication tools such as Slack
