Work Environment

This role is 100% remote, allowing professionals the comfort of working from home while having the option to engage directly with clients through secure video chat platforms. Our user-friendly counselor portal streamlines processes and minimizes the bureaucratic burden, so our therapists can devote more time to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct empathetic and ethical mental health counseling sessions with stable, low-acuity adult clients through video conferencing.
• Implement solution-focused therapeutic modalities to address individual client needs effectively.
• Create personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of your clients.
• Facilitate insights and self-discovery for clients regarding their feelings and interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to help clients build healthy coping mechanisms.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure the use of evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with stable adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. Your role is essential in helping these individuals acquire skills that enhance their quality of life and promote psychological wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license enabling independent practice is essential. Please specify your credentials and licensure state in your application:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted. Candidates must have a clean disciplinary record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist clients on their mental health journeys
• Proficient digital literacy to effectively use our systems and conduct virtual counseling sessions, including a reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities, along with a stable internet connection.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient mental health treatment and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities are preferred. Candidates who demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to develop rapport with diverse client demographics will stand out as ideal candidates for this position.

Compensation and Benefits
