Job Description
The Specialist provides paralegal support for Client Legal Services attorneys. The role prepares pleadings and motions. Under general attorney supervision, Join Allstate's Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients.
Based in Georgia and concentrating on the Atlanta Metro, Macon and Savannah areas, this remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle - from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial. With access to hands-on training and mentorship from a collaborative team of paralegals, administrative assistants, and attorneys, you'll build deep expertise and grow your career in a supportive, fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
  • Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
  • Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
  • Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable
  • Handle e-filing in Georgia Courts
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files

Education
  • Must meet the minimum qualifications for paralegals as defined by applicable state law.

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.
  • Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
