Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' specific needs, followed by the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to individuals, couples, and family units.
• Lead psychoeducational groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues, thereby fostering a community of support among participants.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to provide integrated, patient-centered care that addresses all aspects of a client's condition.
• Educate clients about their mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and peer support.
• Stay current with developments in mental health practices and therapeutic modalities through ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families struggling with various mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is mandatory.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and established treatment modalities is crucial.
• Competence in conducting detailed mental health evaluations and treatment planning is essential.
• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and group therapy to a varied client population, showcasing adaptability and cultural competence.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to foster rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Adherence to professional ethics and the ability to maintain client confidentiality are non-negotiable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or outpatient clinic is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
