Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Conducting thorough assessments and maintaining detailed, accurate documentation to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each patient's journey and progress.
• Actively collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to promote integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Participating in regular professional development sessions and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support various psychological conditions, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our counselors is on serving individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By utilizing a culturally competent approach, you'll engage clients in meaningful ways that foster trust and rapport. Your contributions will be pivotal in guiding clients toward recovery and personal growth, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates are required to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred and will enhance prospects for advanced responsibilities.
• A current state license such as LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW, attesting to your qualifications as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, demonstrating a proven track record of effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, enabling strong connections with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities that are essential for developing effective treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of relevant experience, additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities, trauma-informed care, or community mental health settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with modern therapeutic techniques and the willingness to pursue ongoing education will help you further excel in your role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 – $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and productivity. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
