Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55.88hr - $60.88hr
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software, DevOps and/or cloud systems engineering.
  • Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially with Jenkins using Groovy.
  • Expert proficiency in container-based technologies, especially Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS EKS.
  • Proficiency in microservice concepts.
  • Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python.
  • Technical knowledge of AWS managed services including VPC, EC2, EKS, and RDS.
  • Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience with code management systems such as Git.
  • Experience maintaining Java web applications using Spring Boot.
  • Must be available for weekend support based on application release deployments and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support application deployments.
  • Support cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and EKS Kubernetes.
  • Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform application release deployments in Test and Production environments.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and Groovy to streamline operational processes and deployments.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to enhance system scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Submit change management tickets and represent the team on CAB calls.
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based production environments.
  • Support container orchestration platforms such as Podman and Kubernetes.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts (POC) using AWS Services.
