• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, strengths, and needs in order to personalize treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, fostering resilience, and enhancing emotional regulation.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, to effectively address clients' trauma-related symptoms and improve their overall mental health.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding participants through their healing journeys while helping them develop essential coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated support and care for each patient.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and appropriate care.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, enhancing their understanding and participation in the healing process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) software efficiently.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed on the latest research and best practices in the realm of trauma therapy.

This role focuses primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to survivors of physical or emotional abuse, combat veterans, and individuals suffering from chronic anxiety or depression related to past trauma. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and therapeutic modalities specific to trauma recovery.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and an unbiased approach to therapy.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and efficient computer usage.

While not mandatory, experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, coupled with a strong background in resilience-building techniques, will be advantageous in this position.
