Job description

Title: AlloyDB Omni Engineer Location: 100% Remote Duration: Contract (Rate Open) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AlloyDB Omni Engineer to support an upcoming engagement involving the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of AlloyDB Omni in a client's on-premises environment. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in AlloyDB Omni, along with solid background knowledge of PostgreSQL, Linux, and Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and manage AlloyDB Omni in on-prem environments.
  • Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AlloyDB Omni solutions.
  • Ensure database performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize database solutions.
  • Implement best practices for security, backups, and high availability.
  • Work closely with client engineering teams to integrate AlloyDB Omni into existing infrastructure.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven, hands-on engineering experience with AlloyDB Omni (must-have).
  • Strong expertise with PostgreSQL administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting.
  • Experience deploying and managing workloads in Kubernetes environments.
