Full Stack Developer

Location: Akron, OH (Preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing and implementing solutions on time and within budget. This position will support WSFS, Special Orders and Plex Systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst, Technical analysts and IT teams to develop solutions that meet the requirements given by the business
  • Ensure technical considerations are discussed and documented
  • Translate solution designs into working code
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Evaluate complex interrelationships between programs such as whether a change in one part of a program will cause an unwanted result in another part
  • Develop and document test cases, test data requirements and expected results
  • Migrate solutions into the production environment. Enhance existing applications on an as-needed basis
  • Maintain and updating documentation of project code and technical processes following standards that are set by the team
  • Conduct issue documentation including issue resolution and incident closures, track and implement changes that are required to prevent future occurrences
  • Conduct demos, technical walkthroughs and code reviews
  • Assist in training and the support of end-users on developed applications.
  • Grow and maintain relationship with peers, IT teams, business partners and vendors
  • Encourage teamwork at all levels and cross-functionally within our team and outside teams

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE/Java EE & Java SE) with frameworks such as Spring and JPA/Hibernate, and experience building SOAP and REST APIs
  • Front-end development experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5
  • Database expertise with Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience with Linux/HP-UX environments and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Java EE application servers such as JBoss and WebSphere
  • Cloud experience with AWS and working knowledge of Python
  • 7+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; certifications are a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset and ability to collaborate effectively while managing priorities and delivering accurate, timely results
  • AI experience is a plus

The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $130,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
