The Role: As a QA Automation Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Apryse's SDK technologies used by global Fortune 500 companies. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks that support our document processing products across web, mobile, and backend platforms. The Role: As a QA Automation Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Apryse's SDK technologies used by global Fortune 500 companies.

You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks that support our document processing products across web, mobile, and backend platforms. Working closely with Engineering teams, the QA Automation Lead will help build robust testing pipelines and improve overall product quality. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, quality engineering, and building scalable testing solutions while mentoring QA engineers and promoting best practices across development teams.

Candidates must already be based in Belgium, Germany or the United Kingdom. Responsibilities: Test Automation Strategy & Development Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Apryse SDKs and related products. Develop automated test suites covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

Continuously improve test automation coverage across web, mobile, and backend services. Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient software delivery. Be closely involved with the administration of the test farm infrastructure.

Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve automation efficiency and testing effectiveness. Quality Engineering & Testing Define testing strategies and quality standards for new features and product releases. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure testability of new features and systems.

Design and execute test plans for complex software components and distributed systems. Identify defects, analyze root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently. Ensure product releases meet performance, reliability, and quality expectations.

Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Partner closely with Engineering teams to align on testing priorities and release timelines. Provide guidance on best practices for automated testing, quality assurance processes, and tooling.

Contribute to cross-team initiatives to improve engineering productivity and product quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.

Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows. Experience testing complex software systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving system reliability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Nice to Have: Experience with SDKs, developer tools, or API-driven platforms Knowledge of PDF, Office formats, MS Office model, and VBA.

Knowledge of Linux, OSX and Windows platforms. Experience with mobile or cross-platform testing environments. Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers Experience programming in C++; experience with C# and/or Python is a plus.
