On-site 5 days/week in Frisco, TX

Our client seeks a Systems Administrator to support, secure, and optimize enterprise IT operations. The role focuses on end-user support and endpoint deployment across Mac, Windows, and Linux, with responsibility for administration, asset management, and collaboration with infrastructure, network, and security teams.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $27.00 to $31.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on desktop and systems administration support for Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software across end-user devices and server systems.
  • Administer user accounts, access control, and group policies using Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Manage IT assets throughout the lifecycle including procurement, deployment, support, and decommissioning.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and perform maintenance activities outside business hours as required.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to support enterprise IT operations and incident response.
Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration or enterprise desktop support.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity and access management tools.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and endpoint security practices.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management platforms such as SNIPE, JSM, or JIRA.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance windows.
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), JAMF, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of ITIL practices for change, incident, and asset management.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting remote and hybrid environments. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or Cisco are a plus.
