This role is eligible for fully remote work


How you'll make an impact

- Provides leadership and direction for the GB Specialty Life Sciences Vertical, ensuring strong oversight of all vertical client relationships and claims handling functions.

- Manages a team of highly skilled claims handlers and holds ultimate responsibility for their performance.

- Directly oversees the handling of the largest and most complex claims within the vertical.

- Approves personnel activities, including hiring, training and development, and the evaluation of staff performance.

- Serves as the face of the Life Sciences vertical, participating in conferences, authoring white papers and thought leadership articles, and speaking on industry panels.

- Conducts case reviews and evaluates claims staff through ongoing review of statistics, open/closed file evaluations, and substantive file reviews.

- Participates in key planning and strategic decision-making processes.


About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years related experience required.

Preferred:

  • JD Highly Preferred
  • Managed Life Sciences Claims
