• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and social needs of clients, enabling tailored treatment strategies.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and therapeutic needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, including patient histories, progress notes, treatment plans, and outcomes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using evidence-based practices and tailored interventions that encourage client engagement and foster healing.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and coping strategies aimed at enhancing their quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and share insights on client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment through ongoing training, professional development, and active participation in clinical supervision.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and other psychosocial stressors. Our client base encompasses various age groups and backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach to care that respects and acknowledges their unique experiences and perspectives.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in delivering therapeutic services, demonstrating competence in managing a variety of mental health conditions.

• Experience working with families in crisis or those affected by trauma, showcasing the ability to provide immediate support and resources.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Demonstrated success in working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
