Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through our secure telehealth platform, establishing a therapeutic rapport with clients.
  • Utilize comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ family dynamics, relationship patterns, and previous trauma in order to inform evidence-based treatment planning.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring continuous evaluation and adjustment as necessary.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support, utilizing local crisis resources when required, to help clients navigate urgent emotional challenges.
  • Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, facilitating accurate tracking of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Educate clients and families on techniques for effective communication, boundary setting, and strategies for enhancing daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during meetings to support complex case discussions, sharing insights to enhance client care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve vary widely in age, background, and presenting issues, including but not limited to mental health disorders, family conflicts, and relationship distress. Your expertise will be essential in helping them develop healthier patterns and achieve personal growth. The focus will be on creating a safe space for dialogue, understanding, and healing across different family structures and individual needs.

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Vermont, meeting the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in couples or marriage counseling, demonstrating your ability to address relational dynamics effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively handle diverse client needs and administrative tasks.
