Liberty Coaching & Counselling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to enhance our team and directly contribute to the well-being of our clients. This role allows for remote work while serving an outpatient community health clinic setting in California City, California. The role of Licensed Clinical Social Worker is remote, offering flexibility while meeting the needs of clients through virtual consultations. Working within a supportive team, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling work-life balance while fulfilling a vital service to the community.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to understand their strengths, challenges, and specific needs, ensuring comprehensive intake documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client requirements, fostering effective treatment plans aimed at achieving personal goals.
• Identify and implement psychological interventions that empower clients, encouraging positive behavioral changes and emotional growth.
• Provide individualized counseling sessions for clients and their families, guiding them through various life issues and fostering healthy relationship dynamics.
• Offer vocational and experiential counseling to assist clients in overcoming barriers to employment and enhancing their overall quality of life.
• Collaborate effectively with a range of community resources and referral sources, ensuring holistic care that addresses all aspects of the client’s situation.
• Respond to crisis situations with proficiency, conducting necessary documentation and follow-up to ensure ongoing support and safety.
• Maintain communication with clients and their families through over-the-phone assistance as needed, demonstrating a commitment to client support outside of formal appointments.
• Safeguard the required state licensure and uphold all professional standards of practice, including participation in ongoing education and training.
• Work collaboratively with treatment team members, providing insights on client progress and fostering a multidisciplinary approach to care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele exhibiting a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological conditions. You will engage with individuals and families, tailoring your approach to the cultural, socio-economic, and specific needs of each client to promote lasting recovery and wellness.

• Must hold a valid California License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree from an accredited school of social work is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or community-service setting is essential.

• Experience in dealing with a diverse patient demographic and knowledge of community health resources.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with care teams and clients.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques in challenging situations, enhancing service delivery.
