• Conduct individual counseling sessions focused on managing chronic pain, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and primary care providers, to develop personalized treatment plans that address both mental and physical health.
• Empower patients to actively participate in their pain management journeys by providing educational resources and coaching on self-regulation techniques.
• Guide patients through the emotional challenges of chronic pain, offering strategies for coping with anxiety, depression, and stress.
• Assist patients in implementing lifestyle modifications, such as exercise, nutrition, and stress management practices, to enhance their quality of life.

The LMHC you will be joining is focused primarily on supporting individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions, which can include fibromyalgia, arthritis, and pain resulting from both physical and emotional traumas. Our patient population encompasses a diverse group, including both adults and seniors who often face complex emotional and psychological barriers linked to their physical health challenges. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping them navigate these intricacies.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid and active LMHC license in Washington State is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• At least 3 years of experience in counseling, specifically working with patients experiencing chronic pain or similar health conditions.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, ensuring effective and secure virtual sessions with patients.
• Experience in integrating health coaching methodologies into mental health practices is preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
